Are you interested in diving deeper into your faith through one of our Adult Classes? Let us know on the Contact Us page!

Phase 1: Loving With Joy

Exploring St. Mark’s: Our class for new members, two sessions, offered after Sunday worship. Session 1 will explore the foundations of our United Methodist heritage and St. Mark’s history; Session 2 discusses our ministries and opportunities for members to connect and serve. Lunch will be provided.

Equipped for God’s Work: Discover how God has prepared you to serve him in the church! Three sessions, at the church. We’ll be exploring what the Bible says about God’s gifts and how he intends us to use them to build up his body, the church. Class dates/times will be developed based on the schedules of participants.

Phase 2: Growing in Joy

For Lent — Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts, and Outlaws, a study by the Rev. Adam Hamilton: Wednesdays at 1 and 6:30 p.m. at our Ministry Center, with Zoom options available, starting March 1.

After Lent — Disciple Bible Study, New Testament: Over 12 weeks, with a summer break, we’ll work through the story of Jesus and the rest of the New Testament. Dates and times will be set based on participants’ schedules.

Phase 3: Sharing Our Joy

Connect Groups: Small groups to help us grow together in faith and discipleship. Existing groups may continue, but if you’d like to join a new group, please contact the church office, and we’ll connect you with a newly formed group. Each new Connect Group will choose its own coordinator, meeting schedule and curriculum. We prefer that groups meet outside the church – in homes, or in restaurants or coffee shops or other public places. We’ll suggest curriculum for groups that would like ideas on studies.
